Responsibilities The RN will implement the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice, ensuring adherence to patient care policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and New York State Licensure requirements. Critical thinking, organization, triage, prioritization, and evidence-based nursing are essential skills for this role. Qualifications Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred Previous Critical Care or at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred Current NY State RN license CCRN and/or ANCC-Med/Surg certification preferred BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months Additional certifications such as cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and hospital crisis prevention training are required within specified timeframes Additional Information Compensation ranges from $48.50 to $74.60 per hour .
