Job Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development and delivery of best-in-class technical capability and learning in support of our Finance Capability Model, and in line with our Global SFS Talent strategy. In particular, you will focus on the learning project management of the Finance Masters Challenge - a brand new, strategic global development program that aims to equip our Finance leader pipeline with future-ready skills and improve their readiness for promotion to a Finance Director role.

The role requires a multidimensional approach including influencing, coaching and interacting with a range of global expert SMEs and leadership level sponsors, and working with other PMI Communities and teams to ensure that the inaugural running of the Finance Masters Challenge is a success. There is an event and management aspect to the role, and you will need to bring your experience of deploying blended learning programs in fast-moving, complex organizations. At its heart, this role is about blending technical learning and development expertise with excellence in execution, and needs a subject-matter expert who can help shepherd the organization to a successful outcome for the program.

Role Accountabilities

  • Manage the co-ordination of senior stakeholders (Finance Masters Challenge working group, finance technical SMEs, other PMI Capability teams) to source and develop content and materials for the program that are timely, contextually relevant, engaging, and impactful.
  • Lead interactions with the design and delivery teams when needed.
  • Manage the content and materials production process to ensure integration and application of instructional design best practice, validation and sign off of content, and overall program flow.
  • Manage external partner vendors including budget logistics support and holding to account for quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Orchestrate all preparatory activities needed for onsite elements of the program (including but not limited to venue liaison, contracting, social activities, local market engagement, participant and line manager communications and engagement, baselining, registrations), working with the Senior Process Lead assigned to the team.
  • Oversee delivery and logistics of VILT sessions included in the program, providing co-facilitation support to SME delivery teams and leveraging appropriate functionalities of MS Teams.
  • Manage and execute engagement and communications activities for the program, including through sharing, posting, and promoting content with relevant audiences.
  • Partner with P&C Business Partner team to conduct participant gap analysis and align on the on-the-job and social learning elements that will run alongside structured learning, including project allocation, coaching and mentoring programs.
  • Analyze learning measurement and audience engagement data and produce reports showing the learning impact for key stakeholders, identifying trends and insights (learn, adjust and improve).

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Learning Design: Highly experienced in using adult learning theory and science to design a variety of learning formats and techniques including: experiential, social/peer-to-peer, learning communities, games/simulations, videos, articles, infographics, and digital resources, live-online etc.
  • Working to a 5Di or 6Ds outcome driven learning design standard model.
  • Wide understanding and experience implementing full (4 levels), evaluation across all programs, initiatives and content.
  • Understanding and awareness of social media platforms, content engagement techniques.
  • Learning Delivery: Highly experienced in managing projects to deliver training across multiple cultures, both virtual and in-person. Experienced delivering, deploying and managing train-the-trainer (T3) models.
  • Also desirable: Desktop publishing and production skills, Adobe Suite, Canva, Video Editing software etc.
  • Experience in using digital learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Article/HTML).
  • Practical understanding of User Experience (UX) theory.
  • Experience working with LMS (Learning Management Systems), and LXPs.
