About the role

We are hiring three (3) Junior Technical Support Engineers with salaries ranging from £27,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills. The ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and must have good spoken and written English. The roles involve shift work, primarily night and weekend shifts, based at our Enfield Data Centre, with occasional visits to other Data Centres.

About you

  • Strong desire to learn new technologies
  • Basic knowledge of the Internet, networking, TCP/IP protocols, and applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues quickly and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Manage and monitor support tickets
  • Some experience with server hardware installation and management is preferred but not essential
  • 12-18 months experience in a Technical Support or similar role
  • Ability to work well in a busy team, learn quickly, and handle a wide range of issues
  • Ability to assess, prioritize faults, and escalate when necessary
