Our client, a forward-thinking environmental consultancy, has a new requirement for a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), GIS, and Data Specialist to join their growing team.

The GIS and Environmental Data Consultant plays a key role in delivering innovative solutions that support sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, and nature recovery. As the successful BNG, GIS & Data Specialist, you will:

  • Support the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments across a range of projects
  • Work with spatial data and GIS software (such as ArcGIS, QGIS) to produce high-quality maps and visualisations
  • Analyse ecological data, interpret habitat survey results, and manage complex datasets
  • Collaborate closely with ecologists, planners, and developers to integrate biodiversity outcomes into land management and planning
  • Help drive innovation in the use of remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and data management
