You will develop products and solutions based on design specifications, working on complex issues and building prototypes to meet product goals. This role offers influence, opportunities, and challenges for those passionate about programming and working globally.In This Role, You Will:Develop and deliver products using Assembler and CDesign, code, and fix defects in complex multi-tier software solutionsCreate high-quality design options reflecting broad technical knowledgeConduct code and design reviewsMake impactful decisions on development pathsEvaluate new technologies and processesWork directly with global clients on complex issuesMentor and provide technical guidance to the teamRequirements:Minimum 10 years of experience with z/OS Processing EnvironmentAt least 7 years in IBM coding and development, including extensive 64-bit and 31-bit Assembler programmingExperience in multitasking, reentrant, and sysplex environmentsAbility to create functional designs from business requirementsExperience with IBM Mainframe tools (TSO/ISPF, JCL)Deep knowledge of z/OS internals and structureProficiency in low-level operating system functions and troubleshootingSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teamsNice To Have:Experience in C / C++ developmentKnowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocolsSkills in data transformation, databases, JSON, YAML, and remote communication with certificatesOur commitment to you:BMC values its people and fosters an inclusive culture.
