Senior Research Scientist – Health Tech (3-Month Contract)

Day rate = £450/day

Location: Remote – UK Based

Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Role Overview:
Lead the analysis of large-scale survey data from Nigeria, Senegal, and Ivory Coast to support health initiatives. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations aligned with project goals.

We are hiring a Senior Research Scientist for a 3-month contract to lead data-driven projects in women\’s health and family planning across developing countries. This role requires expertise in research, data science, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that inform policy and decision-making.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Ph.D. (or equivalent) and a master\’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in R for statistical analysis and data manipulation.

    • Experience with GitHub for version control.

    • Strong knowledge of data processing and analytics pipelines.

  • Industry Experience:

    • Proven background in health tech, public health, or pharma.

    • Demonstrated success in delivering research-driven insights and recommendations.

Due to the specifics and nicheness of this role only candidates with relevant industry experience and proficiency in R and GitHub will be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis:

    • Develop and manage data pipelines for large-scale survey data.

    • Extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Statistical Insights:

    • Conduct causal analyses to identify trends in women\’s health and family planning.

    • Present clear, impactful findings to stakeholders.
