All you need is:
- Solid administrative experience, with a proven ability to manage high volumes of data accurately and efficiently
- Confident and professional communication skills - with a customer-first attitude
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and resolve queries quickly and thoroughly
- High attention to detail, especially when handling invoice data, reports, and energy usage information
- Strong Excel skills (including functions, formatting, and data handling), with experience across Microsoft Office/365
- A proactive mindset - someone who takes ownership and follows through with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Energy/Utilities Industry experience is desirable, however not essential.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the administration, analytical and general day-to-day functions of the Bureau clients, with a focus on day-to-day delivery of client-focused tasks and assisting the designated Client Manager / Bureau Manager. The role includes the timely and accurate completion of invoice validation and the regular production of accompanying reports.
Common tasks include:
- Review client estates monthly for accuracy - check for any additions / deletions
- Process all additions, closures and deletions (change of tenancies)
- Accurately entering utility invoice/s information into the validation software
- Validating the client’s ‘cost of gas’ and ‘cost of power’ against reports from suppliers
- Ensuring billed rates, metering charges, transportation charges and other charges are validated and the validation software is updated as required
- Daily updating and issuing of clients’ reports
- Payment files issued (weekly) on the agreed day
- Manage any internal, client, supplier and third party queries through to completion
- Maintain query logs, internal systems, and fully manage the client’s mailbox
- Manage disconnection notices within the agreed SLA’s
- Build and maintain a strong and healthy relationship with clients, suppliers, third parties, and internal staff
- Accurately update the customer’s energy usage data monthly and ensuring profiles are updated per supplier information
- Carrying out historic bill validation on an ad-hoc basis
