Terra Recruitment is working with a global consultancy that’s ramping up delivery on a series of high-profile flood risk and water resilience projects across international markets. They’re now looking to engage experienced Flood Risk Specialists on a contract basis.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong technical background in flood modelling, hydrology, or drainage strategy who’s open to international travel and has a genuine interest in shaping climate resilience projects across borders. You’ll be contributing to masterplans, flood alleviation strategies, climate adaptation work and infrastructure development in regions that are actively investing in water resilience.
The team is highly collaborative, and while technical excellence is a must, so is the ability to adapt to different stakeholder environments and navigate diverse regulatory contexts. The successful candidate will ideally bring experience with tools such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, or InfoWorks RS, alongside strong reporting and stakeholder engagement capabilities. International project experience is a bonus, but not essential if you bring strong UK or EU flood risk credentials.
Rates are competitive and tailored to experience and all travel and accommodation is covered when work is required on-site.
