Key Responsibilities:
  • Work trackside at all F1 events, providing real-time engineering support to race drivers and performance engineers
  • Analyse live telemetry data to inform race strategy and vehicle setup
  • Collaborate with factory-based performance and systems teams to ensure optimum car performance
  • Support simulation work, pit stop strategies, and post-session data reviews
  • React decisively in high-pressure, time-sensitive race environments
Skills Required for the Trackside Engineer role:
  • Degree-qualified in Motorsport Engineering.
  • Experience in a trackside or race engineering role, ideally within F1, F2, WEC, GT or high-level motorsport
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MATLAB
  • Confident communicator with the ability to perform under pressure
