This is a Hybrid role, the Collections team work from our Cardiff City Centre Office 3 days per week. Whilst you undergo training, you’ll be required to be in the office 5 days for your first few weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a Collections Officer, you will be providing the best customer service while managing and carrying out the collection of outstanding accounts.
  • You will be getting in touch with customers, discussing payment plans, and keeping accurate records of all interactions and payment statuses.
  • Additionally, you will be working with other departments to resolve billing issues and ensure a smooth and positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact customers to discuss outstanding accounts.
  • Arrange payment plans to help customers get back on track.
  • Provide exceptionally good customer service at all times.
  • Keep accurate notes on each customer account.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve queries.
  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.

Shift Patterns Monday to Friday between 8am-2pm. You’ll work a mix of 8am-1pm and 9am-2pm, 20hrs a week.

Requirements:

  • Call centre experience.
  • Collections and complaints desired within an FCA regulated environment.
  • Able to communicate extremely well over the phone.
  • Able to negotiate.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Final stage: 60 minute experience assessment and team fit interview with two of our Collection Team Leaders (In person).
