Assistant Accountant – Goole – £27,000 – £30,000 This highly reputable, fast-growing, owner-managed SME business located in Goole is looking for a proactive Assistant Accountant, due to internal promotion. The role and tasks will develop for the right candidate as the business has ambitious growth plans. Salary & Benefits include: 25 Days + Bank Holidays Free on-site parking Staff Discount Scheme Study support Responsibilities will include: Assist Management Accountant with Monthly MI Pack where required Maintain the Company Fixed Assets Register Prepare Finance Audit File for external accountants Daily reconciliation of Invoice Discounting Facility Process daily bank transactions and cashflow input Perform daily bank reconciliations for multiple currencies Prepare quarterly VAT returns Calculate agent commissions and customer rebates Organize Hire Purchase agreements when required Generate factory efficiency reports Handle trade loan submissions Maintain aged creditors and debtors ledger Required Skills & Experience: AAT Qualified or studying in later stages IT literate, including Excel and ERP systems Good communication skills Attention to detail If you are interested in this exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
