Major UK retailer now requires a Change Consultant to join a high-impact transformation project focused on reshaping their global sourcing strategy for own-brand products. This initiative will define how and where products are sourced internationally – with particular focus on improving margin and operational efficiency.
As an experienced change consultant, with experience of sourcing strategies in the retail sector, you will be working globally to align people, processes and systems with a refreshed sourcing model. You will collaborate closely with senior UK stakeholders and regional international leaders to deliver a future-fit operating model.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the setup and day-to-day management of a complex international change workstream
- Partner with globally dispersed business leads and delivery teams
- Own and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Provide structured reporting and updates in line with project governance
- Manage project finances and align reporting within the wider transformation budget
- Ensure seamless execution of changes across different countries
- Proven experience delivering sourcing or supply chain transformation across international retail environments
- Strong understanding of product sourcing operations – ideally in own-brand retail
- Familiarity with Buying, Merchandising, Design and General Merchandise is highly beneficial
- Solid experience managing organisational design/change across multiple employment law jurisdictions
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and distributed delivery teams
- Prior exposure to Asia-based sourcing operations is a strong advantage
