Our client is an installation company that was founded in the early 2010s. They offer a range of services such as: Gas boiler replacements, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, underfloor insulation, loft insulation, cavity walls, solar panels, and air source heat pumps.
They are looking for a compliance manager with experience in a similar role to lead their compliance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Accreditation renewals, ensuring that they are prepared for all renewals and meeting with auditors where appropriate.
- Working with the management team to ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and reviewed regularly.
- Completing internal audits for the business procedures to ensure they are being followed or to help identify any gaps within the processes.
- Ensuring all subcontractors are fully onboarded before starting work with the company and reviewing the supply chain regularly to confirm they are meeting the correct standards.
- Monitoring any changes in regulations, such as building regulations, and working with the senior management team to update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Educating all employees, where relevant, on the regulations that affect the business to help them understand the reasons behind the policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the business is compliant with GDPR and dealing with requests such as SARs if they come in.
The successful candidate will have:
