Hays Accountancy and Finance are looking for an experienced Group Payroll Officer for an international manufacturing firm in Dungannon, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your new role

  • Preparation and processing of multi-site payrolls paying 3500+ employees.

  • Ensure accurate payslips are produced and distributed on a timely basis.

  • Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations including Pensions.

  • Weekly RTI submissions.

  • Maintain and update payroll records.

  • Liaise with HR re staff appointments, terminations, remuneration, condition of service and other relevant matters.

  • Liaise with Managers/Team Leaders on wages and other related

What you’ll need to succeed

Essential

  • 18-24 months experience as a payroll administrator or similar

  • Experience of operating weekly high volume payrolls in a fast-paced environment.

  • In depth understanding of payroll procedures/processes.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and relevant payroll packages to process and manage payroll accurately and timely.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data

  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, analyse reports and reconcile data

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Desirable

  • CIPP Qualification

  • Experience of using People XD payroll software

  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel
