What You\’ll Do As a Membership Business Development Executive, you\’ll be at the forefront of our commercial growth. You\’ll: Support and grow a high-value sales pipeline—from prospecting, lead generation to qualification Drive new business by targeting C-suite executives across the energy sector Own Insights and opportunity: by supporting BDM\’s for pitch meetings, preparing background and proposition that will be most impactful to prospective client. Close with impact: working in collaboration with the BDM team on supporting closing process Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, community and online trading teams to refine our offering and deliver exceptional member experiences Represent E-FWD at high-profile events, building relationships and uncovering new opportunities Requirements What We\’re Looking For You\’re not just a salesperson—you\’re a relationship builder, a connector and have a passion to shape the future of energy media and events. You bring: Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in subscriptions, memberships, or professional services Mastery of the sales cycle, from cold outreach to consultative selling and closing Energy and resilience, to own your success and growth in the role CRM fluency and a data-driven mindset to manage and optimize your pipeline. (we use HubSpot) Account management skills, with a focus on renewals, upselling, and long-term value Confidence and charisma—you\’re comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and tailoring your pitch to their needs A passion for energy, innovation, and transformation—and a desire to be part of something evolving Why Join Us?
