Client-side Senior Planner Opportunity
Senior Planner – South Manchester Area – Hybrid

This is a fantastic client-side opportunity with an attractive and well-established developer; the team is looking to hire a Senior Planner to join their Manchester team.
My client specialises in land promotion nationally with a focus on residential and mixed-use developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and finalising reports to support planning applications, appeals, and policy presentations.
- Preparing well-researched, professionally presented reports and representations to support site promotion and accompany planning application submissions.
- Undertaking site visits and meetings with landowners, agents, and local authority officers.
- Conducting research and analysis to develop strategies for site promotion, allocation, or planning applications.
- Assisting Planning Directors, Planning Managers, and Senior Project Managers as needed, with additional involvement in broader planning matters as directed by senior colleagues.
Candidates will have:
- Experience in Strategic Policy Planning (desirable but not essential)
- 4+ years experience
- Experience in managing workload and projects
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Exceptional communication skills
