Payment Specialist

Execute daily payments, including Faster Payments, International Payments/SWIFT, ACH domestic payments, and global real-time payment schemes, adhering to agreed cut-off times. Manage the correct allocation of incoming liquidity within established timeframes. Investigate and resolve payment exceptions such as rejections, returns, and failures. Import bank partner statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Correspond and liaise with network partners via email, telephone, and the SWIFT network to resolve issues promptly and minimize service impact. Develop an in-depth understanding of the payment platform and global network of payment partners. Seek continuous improvements in processes, workflows, and tools. Support the identification, management, and resolution of service-affecting incidents. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete critical tasks. Collaborate with internal teams such as compliance, reconciliation, customer support, and app services to ensure timely issue resolution. This position is hybrid, with in-office days to be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Effective communication and presentation skills for colleagues and management. Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and contribution. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred. This is a fixed-term contract for 15 months.
