Transport Admin Coordinator
Location: Guildford
Salary: £32K-£38k depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday: 7am to 5.30pm, One in three Saturdays: 7am to 12.30pm
My client: Integrated recycling, waste management and aggregates business, servicing a wide range of commercial and domestic customers, strong logistical and operational services, growing year on year.
The Role: My client is looking for an individual that has ideally come from a Transport background with a strong background in organisation and administration:
• Check vehicle defects
• Getting prices from suppliers for any parts needed
• Keeping check on stock levels of cleaning items and consumables
• Taking deliveries and putting away in stores if required
• Assisting with any issues with the drivers
• Using vans to pick up parts/reverse assistants
The ideal Candidate: A brilliant communicator, an individual that can make things happen and follow through as well as keeping individuals informed. You will have to be very organised, enjoy working in a small team that is always on the go.
