We\’re Hiring, Are you ready for a new challenge?Aon is currently recruiting an experienced insurance broker to join our D&O team in London.You will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis.This is a Hybrid role which will involve part office/home-based working.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeClient management and broking in servicing for a worldwide portfolio of clients produced on a wholesale and retail basis, including both renewals and new business from initial enquiry through to the handing over of the placing slip to the processing/documentation teamProvide full reviews of the risks proposed, preparation of underwriting presentations, and review of insurance produced by our documentation teamPlacement with insurers, including electronic tradingContribute to the growth of the portfolioSupport and lead tendersProactively manage market relationships and support our broking strategy.Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.How this opportunity is differentThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced working environment, with access to Lloyds, the London market, and other Aon facilities to deliver the D&O requirements of Aon’s clients.Skills and experience that will lead to successProven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer, with established market relationshipsTechnical insurance knowledge across D&ODetailed understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processesEffective communication and presentation skillsExcellent understanding of compliance and FCA regulationHow we support our colleaguesThis role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
