The Role
- Produce Design Documentation Set, technical justifications, and specifications as normally associated with RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect responsibilities.
- Ensure reviews and deliverables for contracts meet requirements and standards.
- Produce test specifications supporting Design, Development & Qualification Contracts.
- Produce test specifications supporting System Integration Facility validation testing.
- Support Test and Commissioning Teams and Build activities.
- Support the end-to-end design process.
- Interact with suppliers and customers.
- Advise on maintenance and spares strategies.
- Support quality to ensure a safe product and compliant operations.
The Candidate
- Technical Knowledge of Telecommunications (Voice & Data Technologies).
- Technical Knowledge of Radio VHF/UHF minimum.
- Technical Knowledge of Trunked Radio Systems such as TETRA/P25/PMR/DMR/MPT1327.
- Fault Diagnosis, Maintenance, and Repair of Radio Systems, Equipment, and Radio Access Networks.
- Understanding of RF Spectrum Management.
- RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect experience.
- Radio Network Planning experience.
