Senior Indirect Tax Analyst - 12 month FTC

The role sits within the Tax team and focuses on indirect tax compliance and risk management across the global business. It also covers oversight of end-to-end VAT and Sales Tax compliance and reporting processes. The role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements and working closely with the Tax Transformation team to deliver indirect tax process enhancements and automation. The Details Collaborate with advisors to prepare and submit indirect tax returns. Coordinate with Treasury to ensure timely VAT payments. Work with Finance to ensure accurate end-to-end accounting, including correct tax codes, balance sheet reconciliations, and data integrity. Analyze large data sets to identify data risks and issues, working with the Tax Transformation and Fintech teams to resolve underlying data and system problems. Partner with the Tax Transformation and broader Tax team to improve indirect tax processes, including working with tax determination engines and supporting automation projects. Identify potential indirect tax risks and cash savings opportunities, leading initiatives to manage risks and realize opportunities. Assist in sourcing and analyzing data to respond to tax authority queries. Support external auditors by providing necessary documentation. Review large data sets to identify outliers and trends for root cause analysis. Promote a culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. We seek an experienced Indirect Tax specialist (ACCA/ATT qualified or equivalent) with strong indirect tax knowledge, especially in retail e-commerce. The candidate should have extensive experience reconciling multiple data sets, proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and excellent attention to detail with large data volumes. Skills in planning, prioritizing, organization, initiative, and effective communication are essential. The role requires a proactive, flexible approach and openness to change.
