NRPS is an established, thriving orthodox Jewish Independent School for boys and girls aged 2-11, situated in Hendon NW4. Our school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and committed individual to join our wonderful team to support teaching and learning and to assist pupils of all abilities as required under the direction of our Deputy Head Teacher (Inclusion & Pastoral).
If you are able to:
- Provide learning and care support for an individual pupil with special educational needs (SEN) to help them to work towards the outcomes on their education and health care plan (EHCP)
- Work with the pupil’s teacher(s) to plan and deliver activities
- Support the pupil with routines, transitions and behaviour management
- Build a positive relationship with the pupil, promoting high self-esteem, independence and social inclusion
- Support staff and pupils where necessary with flexibility within the role
- Assist with the development and delivery of individual EHCPs
- Support the pupil with their social, emotional and mental health needs
- Support the ethos of Nancy Reuben Primary School
- Commit to the safeguarding of children
