We are recruiting for a Healthcare Cleaner position at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital in Derby to join our Facilities team. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our services. Healthcare Cleaners are valued members of the Facilities team and are respected for their work.

You must be flexible. Previous cleaning experience in hospital/healthcare settings is desirable but not essential. You must be physically capable of performing all aspects of the role. Contracted hours are 22:30, working a 3-week rota, including two weekends out of three. The shift pattern is from 07:30 to 19:00.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained according to the National Standards of Cleanliness 2021. All work schedules must be adhered to, and cleaning equipment used in accordance with instructions, with faults reported. The successful candidate will be supported by the Facilities Management team. A comprehensive training package will be provided, with additional training discussed during the appraisal process.
