Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role
Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll develop and enhance Beavertown’s relationships with a specific base of national and regional On Trade groups? In this role, you’ll be responsible for specific On Trade groups and will be accountable for the Beavertown range of beers within those customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver
- Bring energy and thirst to deliver success. Lead the end-to-end customer relationship with the National & Regional customers within your ledger – including….
- Day to day ongoing support & management
- Longer term strategic visioning for customers within ledger
- Full P&L responsibility for customers within ledger
- Full negotiation responsibility for customers within ledger
- Ongoing brand & activation optimisation for customers within ledger
- Achieve monthly & annual on trade targets
- Work within designated cost pricing corridors
- Communicate sales results on a monthly basis to the National On Trade Director
Shape
- Excite, engage and shape strong strategic partnerships with our key customer base via JBPs.
- Increase our share of each customer within your ledger through broadening our distribution footprint across their respective businesses
- Ensure on an ongoing basis the brand execution in the market is in line with brand values & imperatives
- Be recognised as our preferred customer partner within the craft & moderation category.
- Work with assigned customer set to deliver out of this world activation, driving Beavertown’s brand power score
- Represent Beavertown Brewery at promotions, tastings and special events
Connect
- Work with the Senior National Account Manager to achieve sales and distribution goals by developing compelling commercial propositions for our customers
- Connect with all key internal stakeholders to bring strategy together in tandem eg. Trade Marketing
- Ensure all customers are met once a month minimum
Develop
- Seek out beer related educational opportunities and keep up to date by reading industry publications
- Network at all key trade events to grow network and market insight learning
- Be available for evening & weekend customer meeting/events
- Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management
What You’ll Bring To Us
- Previous experience working as a National Account Manager selling drinks to the On Trade
- Strong negotiation principles & technique to ensure the right commercial outcome is achieved
- Experience successfully managing leading UK On trade groups
- Proven track record in building strong customer relationships with pub groups
- Experience taking the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market needs and challenges
- Proven analytical skills and understanding of syndicated data
- Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, easily able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and externally in the marketplace
- Demonstrated technical skills required for the preparation of professional and effective sales presentations
- Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with a minimum of direction
- A passion for craft beer as well as being well-connected to the craft brewing community
- Strong personal drive and focus on results
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of working time
