About the Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Analyst who has a good track record in working within a flexible environment and is willing to work across multiple project areas utilizing different skill sets, such as managing and supporting our Azure environment, performing upgrades, patch management and product roll out, as well as diagnosing network issues. This is a varied role, and you will be responsible for supporting the current core infrastructure, deploying new systems and upgrading current platforms through Ansible scripting. You will also have input into the design of greenfield projects in a structured agile environment. Working closely with the development/test teams and the functional requirements lead, this role will be key in delivering our solutions to a global market. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely within a small, focused team, but will be given some autonomy to grow and expand the role. We encourage our staff to come forward with new ideas to improve business processes in a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

This is a varied role providing an infrastructure support resource to manage our platforms and take the solutions to another level. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Azure environment, Linux hosts and the Abacus deployed solution. The right candidate should have as many of the following skill set as possible:

• System Administration experience of Ubuntu Linux
• Azure monitoring and service reporting
• A good working knowledge of TCP routing
• HA Proxy knowledge
• Network Security principles
• Patch management and system upgrade path skills

There is an option with the role of expanding into areas such as looking at Docker and Kubernetes and other containerized solutions that could help manage and deploy the company’s solutions.
