What will you be doing? Join a dynamic team at the forefront of the UK’s nuclear innovation as a Nuclear Systems Integrator, based in Derby or Warrington, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of clean energy. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support design activities across nuclear systems to ensure requirements integration and compliance.
- Take ownership of cross-functional tasks that contribute to the continuous improvement of system design processes and procedures across the organisation.
- Engage regularly with key design stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and adherence to governance processes, including gated design reviews, definition reviews, and decision reviews.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation, including System Design Descriptions, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Functional Bill of Materials, Requirement Definitions, Decision Records, and other essential design materials.
Who are we looking for? Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management. Knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) operating principles or a solid expertise in ASME or other relevant design standards. You are passionate about engineering, result-oriented, and proactive.
Qualifications: Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, chemical engineering or a field related to Nuclear systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in delivering presentations and producing high-quality reports.
