My client is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic and supportive finance team. About the Role
This role involves supporting the month-end close process and contributing to the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Support the month-end close process, including contributing to the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to daily finance operations, providing proactive support to the wider team.
- Assist with the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform account reconciliations, including supplier statements and nominal ledger accounts.
- Undertake cashiering duties, including banking and daily cash monitoring.
- Take responsibility for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Compile and submit manufacture composites, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Support external audit processes, providing documentation and responding to auditor queries.
