Registered Nurse --- Night Shift

Location: Conveniently located 30 minutes from Robinson Township, Pennsylvania, Boardman, Ohio, and 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shifts: Apply for Night or Weekend Warrior shifts! Our staff shares these values daily with residents and each other. We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work the night shift at our Chester, WV campus. Our RNs provide personal care services to residents as directed by the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities Assess reports and maintain accurate documentation regarding resident conditions. Recognize significant changes and complete assessments based on care level. Notify physicians and families/responsible parties of changes. Oversee care provided on nursing units by LPNs, nursing assistants, and restorative aides. Report substandard care immediately to the Director of Nursing. Perform daily rounds and coordinate with physicians to ensure resident care and timely documentation. Complete and verify monthly physician orders. Evaluate unit functions to ensure quality care, staff relations, and efficiency. Report concerns to the Director of Nursing. Ensure compliance with Nurse Practice Act, regulations, and policies. Communicate with staff, departments, providers, and families about resident care issues. Requirements Other Responsibilities Intervene in abusive situations to protect residents and report according to policy. Assist with investigations as needed. Provide shift change reports verbally and via 24-hour reports. Assist with medication and treatment administration as prescribed. Maintain accurate controlled substance counts. Participate in mandatory in-services and meetings. Identify staff training needs and notify the Director of Nursing. Must hold an active RN license and complete annual mandated training.
