Job Description
Salary: Dependent on experience
Working Hours: 8:30AM - 5:30PM (37.5 hours)
Location: Field Based - UK
Responsibilities:
- Understand managed IT services, including monitoring, maintenance, data backup, disaster recovery, network management, cloud services, cybersecurity, vendor management, and help desk support.
- Demonstrate product and industry credibility, providing strategic guidance on IT services and technologies.
- Assess client requirements and advise on IT strategy to align technology with business goals.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention by collaborating with delivery and support teams, ensuring timely service delivery, addressing concerns, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Accurately report sales forecasts and pipeline using company systems.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve Daisy’s value proposition.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services; capable of addressing presale technical queries.
- Experience in sales and account management within the Managed IT Services industry or similar.
- Strong customer relationship skills, being responsive, proactive, and attentive to client needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven sales skills with a track record of prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications like ITIL or vendor certifications are beneficial.
- Motivated individual seeking progression with a strong work ethic.
