Events and Content Specialist
Job Title: Events and Content Specialist
Location: Oxford, Hybrid.
Reporting to: Marketing Manager.
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: £25,000 – £37,000dependent on experience.

With the largest and richest repository of real-world data in the world, we enable our clients and collaborators to accelerate clinical trials and to identify, develop and deliver effective new drugs, devices and services to patients and caregivers. We provide our research support and data curation services to the NHS for free, in order to support mental health provision, service improvement and improved patient outcomes across our network. Our Precision Neuroscience Initiative – GlobalMinds – is creating the UK’s largest biobank of patients with mental health conditions to transform research and alleviate disease burden in this area of critical unmet medical needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Events (seasonal)
· Plan, organise and execute the end-to-end process for all Akrivia-related events. This includes (but is not limited to) the coordination of event logistics, registration processes, organiser relations and post-event analysis.
· Plan and execute pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing, including booth engagement strategies, meeting arrangements, photo/video content, and lead engagement post-event.
· Identify relevant local and global events for Akrivia to participate in while ensuring the smooth management of the company’s event calendar.
· Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate event success, including number of qualified leads and meetings booked.
· Support the development and production of Akrivia-hosted events.
· Create detailed event reports and insights to inform future strategies.
Content (perennial)
· Work closely with our internal subject matter experts to develop compelling content and sales enablement materials, including case studies, research posters, white papers, email newsletters, and social media assets.
· Help build and manage our social media presence with a clear focus on key audiences.
· Create visually appealing, cohesive and audience-centric content, often in collaboration with external creative partners.
· Work with key stakeholders to ensure that our case studies and publications are discoverable on all key research platforms in our space.
· Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content assets.
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, agency and event partners.
Qualifications & Experience
· 1-3 years of experience in the B2B space, particularly in events and creative project management roles
· Bachelor\’s degree in Marketing, Event Management or a related field
· Proactive and hands-on with a problem-solving attitude
· Strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to editing written work and physical collateral
· Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once in a timely manner (welcome to startup life!)
· The ability to collaborate with various internal and external partners to achieve goals
· The ability to take ownership of your role to execute goals and take the initiative to find opportunities
· A willingness to learn
· An interest in mental health research, life sciences and/or scientific research is a plus.
