We are looking for a passionate and experienced Global Lean Consultant to support our journey of continuous improvement and deliver impactful change across our global operations.
About The Role
As our Global Lean Consultant, you will play a critical role in enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and standardising best practices across our sites. Reporting to the Group Lean Manager, you will partner with local teams to implement lean principles and support the rollout of global improvement programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in delivering and continuously enhancing our 15 days Advanced Lean Training provided to the AVK Group, travelling across our sales and manufacturing sites within Europe and the world.
- Lead lean transformation projects across global manufacturing and operational sites.
- Conduct on-site assessments, workshops, and training to embed lean tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with local and regional leadership to identify improvement opportunities.
- Utilise Value Stream Mapping to analyse and identify gaps between current and future situations, plan efforts to achieve the envisioned potential.
- Share best practices and foster a global continuous improvement culture.
- Conduct train the trainer sessions.
What Weβre Looking For
- Proven experience delivering lean/continuous improvement in a manufacturing or similar environment (5-7 years).
- Strong knowledge of lean tools (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
- Ability to influence across cultures and organisational levels.
- Flexibility to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
- Ideally Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
