Looking for a strategic Enterprise Infrastructure Architect role that’s centred around global governance?
Your role drives the architecture, design, and deployment of complex, enterprise-level infrastructure solutions. You’ll work across on-prem, cloud, IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS, promoting innovative solutions and ensuring secure, cost-effective management of our infrastructure. This role is focused on governance as apposed to ‘hands on’ element.
You will be a technical subject matter expert on both cloud and on-prem infrastructure systems in an environment that scale aggressively through acquisitions. c. 15,000 users and truly global.
Location: London/Remote (1 day a week onsite)
Salary: £100,000 + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discussions with senior customer executives and the wider Infrastructure department that drive decisions and implementation approaches.
- You’ll own and build architecture and governance from ground zero. Environment consists of O365, Azure, Serverless, Fortigate Firewalls and Cisco.
- Ensure that system requirements are effectively translated into solutions, including reviewing, and owning the architecture and its evolution.
- Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to design and establish new cloud platforms and technologies.
- Ensure cloud services and infrastructure are managed, monitored, and secured in accordance with latest controls and standards.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Must have solid experience in a governance / strategy / advisory role, globally.
- Experience in leading cultural change for cloud and the latest technology adoption within the company.
- Experience in dealing with large global Microsoft 365 migrations/implementations after M&A
- Experience in dealing with third-party provided services including outsourced / augmented teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders, up to and including C-Suite.
