Support a startup making fashion inclusive for everyone. Kaila is a digital fashion platform that empowers people of all bodies, abilities, and identities to create personalized, adaptive clothing through inclusive design and sustainable, on-demand production.

Clothing today is exclusionary. Individuals with disabilities, non-standard body types, and gender- or otherwise diverse identities are routinely underserved by mainstream fashion, limiting their confidence, self-expression, and access to work or social life. Simultaneously, the fashion industry is a major environmental polluter—driven by overproduction, waste, and unsold inventory. Kaila addresses both challenges by offering mass-customizable, inclusive, and made-to-order clothing that adapts to people’s real needs while limiting wasteful practices.

Kaila is building the world’s first inclusive, on-demand clothing configurator. Using generative design logic derived from space mission planning, users can create garments tailored to their unique needs—whether that’s a sensory-friendly office shirt, a gender-affirming summer dress, or wheelchair-accessible outerwear.

Role Description: Create fashion patterns for a capsule collection in different sizes.

Time Commitment: Volunteer 2-3 hours per week for 3-4 weeks remotely.
