Service Care Solution is working with a Legal Law firm and Estate agents, based in the South of Scotland, who operate across thirteen modern offices in the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway.
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a paralegal to join a busy conveyancing team at the Galashiels or Peebles office. This opportunity has arisen because of business growth, and you will be able to support the department in all aspects of conveyancing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and submitting written offers, noting interest, and following up as needed.
- Maintaining direct communication with clients, lenders, estate agents, and third parties.
- Managing administrative tasks across all stages of transactions, from opening files to finalizing lender requirements.
- Submitting LBTT Returns and using the Registers of Scotland online system.
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently working as a conveyancing paralegal.
- Conveyancing accreditation is preferred but not essential.
- Strong administrative skills with a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Previous experience working with clients and third parties in a conveyancing context.
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
