Contribute as part of a team to the provision of a quality early learning and childcare service for children aged 0-8 years and their families. Work to the principles of the national care standards for early education and childcare and abide by the Code of Practice for Social Service Workers.

Requirements:

We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks, namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”. During your application process, you should provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer. The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager and not from a peer operating at the same level.

Responsibilities:

This is a temporary part-time position based within Cherrytrees Early Childhood Centre, Cumnock. The hours of work are 17.5 hours per week, worked across 2.5 days: 0.5 on Wednesday, full days on Thursday and Friday. The full-time salary for this post is between £30,176 - £32,287 per annum. The part-time salary is between £15,088 - £16,143 per annum.
