We are looking for an Account Director to work with our client.
Summary
An Account Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. They collaborate with marketing, creative, production, strategy, finance, and external partners at each project stage, ensuring each team contributes effectively from brief to delivery.
- Strong campaign management skills, experienced in managing multiple projects end-to-end.
- Ability to understand the strategic purpose of a project and its contribution to brand growth.
- Experience with through-the-line communications, managing integrated 360 campaigns across multiple media formats.
- Manage all deliverables typical of an integrated advertising and communications campaign.
- Strong relationship-building skills—trust, collaboration, knowledge, and motivating team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presentation to stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
- Financial acumen and rigor in daily account management.
- Experience in fast-changing environments, managing multi-stakeholder marketing teams with varying seniority levels; pan-market experience is beneficial.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Write status reports and verify work against briefs.
- Agree on the brief with marketing to ensure clarity and stakeholder involvement.
- Organize internal briefing sessions, working with strategy to develop briefs for internal teams.
- Partner with Creative Directors and Executive Producers to enable successful delivery of world-class creative work.
- Coordinate resources, project plans, and budgets with resource and production teams to deliver the brief.
- Manage client communications regarding project progress, issue resolution, contact reports, status meetings, and expectation management.
- Lead client presentations for creative stages, gather feedback, and outline next steps.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery from brief to completion.
- Monitor project progression with Production and Creative teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery meeting the original brief.
- Escalate key issues and blockers to Senior Account Director and Head of Business, facilitating resolution involving relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain financial rigor, supporting the Senior Account Director with monthly burn reports, tracking retainer and production budgets, and assessing new briefs' feasibility.
- Work with marketing to plan upcoming projects, communicate priorities, delays, and issues to internal teams.
- Lead relationships with media partners and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration.
