We are looking for a commercially savvy and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and play a critical role in shaping strategic business decisions. This is a high-impact position, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and team leadership. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), delivering insights that drive financial performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and deliver detailed monthly financial reporting packs to the Group office, providing key performance insights.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, credit control, and working capital to maintain financial health and liquidity.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to support senior leadership in decision-making.
- Drive the development and execution of budgets, forecasts, and risk/opportunity assessments.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee project accounting, including profitability analysis and financial governance of key initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner, identifying opportunities for performance enhancement and cost efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements.
- Champion internal control measures, process improvements, and financial systems enhancements.
- Supervise the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Support financial modeling and scenario planning to inform long-term strategy and business planning.
- Evaluate and prepare capital expenditure proposals using DCF, MIRR, and payback analysis frameworks.
- Lead or support ad hoc financial projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ~10+ year of relevant experience with fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial awareness.
- ~ Proven track record in a senior finance role with responsibility for financial planning, strategy, and operational leadership.
- ~ Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
- ~ Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
