Private Equity Business Analyst

Job Title: Private Equity/Private Markets Business Analyst Duration: long-term contract Location: Hybrid (x3 days per week to London) Visa: UK Citizen/ILR/Dependent visa (No sponsorship available) Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in private equity/private markets, focusing on front office implementation. The ideal candidate will drive the design, optimization, and implementation of deal and investment management workflows, pre- and post-deal compliance, and investment vehicle structure setup. Candidates with middle office experience in supporting deal execution and compliance are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with front office teams to understand and document business requirements for deal origination, execution, and investment management workflows. Design and implement solutions for portfolio management processes, including risk, analytics, performance, and attribution reporting specific to private equity and alternative investments. Lead the setup and ongoing optimization of investment vehicle structures, ensuring operational readiness for new funds and investments. Oversee and coordinate pre- and post-deal compliance processes, including regulatory checks, KYC, and documentation. Support the development and standardization of workflows and analytics for various asset classes, with a focus on private markets. Partner with technology, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of front office solutions and adherence to regulatory requirements. Conduct impact and gap analyses, develop functional specifications, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new tools and process enhancements. Provide ongoing training and support to end users on implemented systems and workflows.
