Great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a high-growth and extremely creative Entertainment Group with many interests including Production, Theatre & Performing Arts. Sat within a thriving business unit, this position will report to the Head of Finance and have responsibility for managing the financial operations for the Venues division. The role requires a highly organised, self-motivated and proactive qualified accountant who enjoys managing a team and likes a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead, develop and mentor a small team;
- Prepare monthly management accounts to include full P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Variance Analysis;
- Ownership of the financial reporting for some of the venues, including building stakeholder relationships;
- Assist with the year-end audit process and quarterly VAT Returns;
- Assist with the annual budgeting & forecasting process including reforecasting and variance;
- Manage the quarterly cashflow forecasting;
- Manage intercompany accounts;
- Business Partner Venue Management on financial performance, risks & opportunities.
Candidate Specification:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3 years experience working as a Senior Management Accountant;
- Experience of managing and developing a finance team;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who is confident, enthusiastic and adaptable;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ideally with multi-site experience;
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-starter who is willing to go the extra mile to make a difference;
- Experience ideally gained within an entertainment, live, theatre or hospitality experience would be preferable;
- Excellent attention to detail, organised, logical and methodical.
