Are you a detail-oriented and analytically minded accounts professional that’s looking for a new role in an analytical capacity within a large business locally? We’re recruiting for a Utilities Analyst to join a leading retail business locally in a newly created position. The leader in its field, with continuous plans for acquisitions, focused on sustainability with an excellent culture and environment.
The Role:
- The Utilities Analyst will lead on the resolution of utility invoice discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of utility data across systems.
- This role involves working closely with utility suppliers, distribution network operators and internal teams to identify, track and resolve billing issues.
- Retain relationships with dedicated supplier account managers, especially during transitions between suppliers, to avoid reliance on generic call centres.
- Escalate issues appropriately to maintain service quality and continuity.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues such as the other Utilities Manager to ensure alignment and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate, clean, and reliable data to support ongoing validation and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, able to spot and investigate anomalies in data.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Excellent management skills to handle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
