Day-to-day responsibilities include: Leading technical work to identify security requirements, develop solutions, and understand the crypto security domain in detail. Delivering analysis, designs, reports, and presentations focused on customer problems and solutions, fostering positive stakeholder relationships. Collaborating within a team to respond to crypto security requests. This is a full-time role (37 hours/week) based at Malvern Technology Centre with flexible working options. Essential experience: Advising on integrating high-grade crypto into systems and key management for security outcomes following national best practices. Breaking down high-level security objectives into detailed security requirements for complex crypto systems. Proposing and designing new approaches to meet security requirements. Understanding cybersecurity concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, and assurance. Qualifications: Degree-level education or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience with crypto and key management in research or industry; considerations may be given to slightly less experience.
