We’re working with a global leader in financial services to identify an experienced and motivated Client Service professional to join their growing Prime Brokerage business in London. This is an exciting opportunity to become the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of hedge funds, asset managers, and other institutional clients across both Synthetic and Cash Prime. As part of a high-performing team within a dynamic, fast-growing division, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day client interactions, support onboarding, and coordinate internal functions to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact for Prime clients, managing day-to-day operational queries and requests
- Support account management tasks including margin issuance, cash balances, and trade reporting
- Coordinate internally with product, risk, operations, and legal to ensure seamless client delivery
- Understanding and valuing all business and transaction related risks, including market, credit, operational, compliance, legal, regulatory and reputation risk
- Assist with client onboarding and transition processes as needed
- Manage and prioritise high volumes of queries with a disciplined, risk-conscious approach
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ direct Prime experience dealing with clients; ideally hedge funds, asset managers or retail aggregators
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Prime operations, including front to back trade flows and lifecycle events
- Ability to prioritise both internal and external queries and multitask effectively
- Disciplined and active approach to risk management is essential
- Demonstrates high levels of organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commercial awareness - demonstrates ability to see, understand and advise on markets from a business perspective, establishing credibility, trust, and respect from our Prime clients
- Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office tools
Initial 6-month contract, with expectation for extension or to be made permanent with the end client.
