What does an Office Cleaner/Assistant do at Busuu?

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Cleaner/Assistant to ensure our office environment remains clean, organised, and fully stocked.
  • Receive and distribute daily deliveries, including fruit baskets, office supplies, and staff lunches.
  • Meeting Room Maintenance
  • Kitchen & Dishwashing
  • Conduct weekly stock takes and restock kitchen supplies, ensuring availability of essentials like coffee, tea, and snacks.
  • Coffee Machine Upkeep: Clean the coffee machine daily and ensure it is stocked with beans.
  • General Cleaning & Tidiness: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including wiping surfaces, clearing spills, and maintaining overall tidiness.
  • Maintain the fridges - dispose of old food, re-stock, etc.
  • Empty office bins and manage waste disposal, including recycling, by transporting waste to designated bins.
  • Bathroom Maintenance: Ensure bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, and other necessities.
  • Report any maintenance issues, such as blockages, to the Office Manager promptly.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning and sanitary supplies, including hand sanitiser, wipes, and other hygiene products.
  • Conduct weekly checks of the office first aid kit, ensuring it is fully stocked and that expired items are replaced promptly.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any general office maintenance issues to the Office Manager.
  • Assist with any other tasks as directed by the Office Manager to support effective office operations.

  • Experience in office cleaning or facilities support.
