Position Summary: Responsible for the site operator licence and overall accountability for the transport operation, ensuring compliance with all obligations. You will develop and manage budgets for the department and promote a culture of care within the operation to prioritise people-first approaches.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote a “Zero is Possible” safety approach, ensuring all transport team members are trained and knowledgeable in health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure legal compliance with Operator’s Licence obligations and all associated conditions.
  • Implement and adhere to Martin Brower policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the transport operation to achieve best-in-class status.
  • Foster a “Culture of Care” and uphold MB’s core values in decision-making.
  • Plan and manage resources to meet and exceed budget targets.
  • Build strong relationships across business functions including HR, Product Supply, IT, Customer Services, and the Customer.
  • Continuously develop personal skills and knowledge related to transport legislation through courses and conferences.
  • Maintain audit readiness and pass all external and internal audits.

Qualifications

Technical Competencies:

  • C.P.C Holder with 2-year refreshers.
  • Experience with WMOS systems and scheduling, including Paragon.
  • Knowledge of current and upcoming industry legislation and developments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
