Our Islington Academy is looking for an exceptional Economics and Business Teacher to join our highly skilled, successful and supportive team and community of staff dedicated to transforming education in London. The successful candidate for this 2ic Business and Economics position will already have impacted the results of students in their own classes and may already have experience supporting other colleagues to raise standards across a team. Please note that as a school, we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time. All applicants must have a Qualified Teacher Status awarded by the British Department of Education and a Secondary subject.

PERSON SPECIFICATION – 2ic Business and Economics
- Must have UK QTS
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching and some leadership experience
- Must have a strong understanding of the British Economics / Business Curriculum
- You must be able to work effectively within a team of Teachers
- Must be graded ‘Good or Outstanding’ in lesson observations – Meeting the Teaching Standards
- Good GCSEs, A Levels and Degree required
