Accountant / Management Accountant

Market Financial Solutions (MFS) is a prominent independent finance provider in the UK, known for our expertise in offering fast and flexible bridging loans and buy-to-let mortgages. With deep-rooted funding lines, we deliver tailored financial solutions for commercial borrowers, including property investors and developers. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing, developing, and analysing financial information, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Update and reconcile commitment fee and valuation spreadsheets with bank payments and receipts.
Raise sales ledger invoices promptly and accurately.
Reconcile intercompany accounts across different entities.
Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets, ensuring accurate monthly reconciliation.
Prepare and post monthly journals, including those related to asset disposals.
Conduct profit and loss account balance analysis on a monthly basis.
Prepare VAT returns and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide necessary documentation for audit requirements.
Support the senior accountant in managing accounts for our Singapore operations.
Experience in Management Accounting, preferably within financial services.
Advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of double entry accounting.
