Associate role with one of the most recognised names in REPE. The firm invests across multiple asset classes and strategies and has raised $bns globally in recent years. The team are looking for a technically strong asset manager to focus more on their pan-European logistics strategy initially, but this will broaden over time.
The successful candidate will support one of the SVPs in the logistics AM team to help drive that asset class strategy and execute the business plan. It is not necessary for the individual to have focused heavily on logistics previously; however, an interest in the asset class is imperative.
This is less of a ‘bricks and mortar’ AM role and more of a technical one. Therefore, the successful candidate will have highly robust financial modelling skills. They must be able to build complex structures from scratch and have demonstrable experience of doing this in their most recent role, which is most likely in a bank, fund or top-tier advisory platform.
Due to the firm’s opportunistic risk profile, asset managers will work on tasks such as refurbishments, developments, bolt-on acquisitions, divestments and asset manipulation.
