They’re now looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Analyst to support financial planning and performance across their central and corporate functions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong relationship-building skills with a proactive mindset, someone who doesn’t just report the numbers but wants to drive positive change through them.

You’ll need to be actively studying ACCA or CIMA, with a clear intention to qualify in the next couple of years. In return, you’ll get exposure to senior stakeholders, meaningful projects, and the chance to shape how finance adds value in a purpose-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key central functions (HR, IT, Legal, etc.) to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
  • Deputise for the Commercial Finance Manager when required.
  • Lead the monthly performance packs with variance analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support strategic investment appraisals and business case development.
  • Drive financial insight to identify cost drivers, track KPIs, and recommend efficiencies.
  • Ensure alignment with internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and accountability.
What You’ll Need:
  • Part-qualified or finalist (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in a commercial, FP&A, or management accounting role
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Excellent communicator able to challenge, influence, and explain finance to non-finance
  • A naturally proactive, detail-focused and commercially minded problem solver
  • Experience in health, housing or not-for-profit sectors is a bonus but not essential
