Responsible for supporting the Category Manager (CM) and achieving departmental or category strategies and initiatives through relationship management with vendors, data collection, and analysis. This enables the CM to leverage information to drive profitable sales.

  • Supports the Category Merchandising & Pricing teams: Assists in achieving departmental strategies and initiatives.
  • Analysis Responsibilities: Handles all aspects of analysis for evaluated categories to support brand strategies.
  • Operational Support: Assists with shelf presentation, assortment decisions, cost negotiations, promotional planning, and product and program development.
  • Vendor Deal Validation: Ensures the accuracy and validation of vendor-submitted deals.
