A contract role for an Engineer with an electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering background to support the delivery of gas transmission equipment projects for the biogas and renewables industry sectors. You will provide electrical and instrumentation engineering / E&I expertise on projects e.g. review of designs, drawings, specifications to enable completed projects to be successfully handed over to the customer.
Your background as an Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer:
- Previous experience working within an Electrical Engineer or Instrumentation Engineer, or E&I Engineer focused role.
- Familiarity with technical / engineering documentation that is created as part of E&I engineering projects e.g., designs, drawings, P&IDs, specifications, risk assessments etc.
- Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and engineering colleagues.
- Likely to hold a relevant qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree) in an electrical engineering, electronic engineering, instrumentation engineering or similar engineering discipline.
The Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer job will involve:
- Bringing together the electrical and instrumentation technical documentation e.g., design specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams, risk assessments etc to enable projects to be fully completed and handed over to the customer.
- Providing electrical and instrumentation engineering expertise on projects e.g. review of designs, drawings etc.
- Completing projects that combine mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and software engineering elements.
- Working closely with the wider engineering team including Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, Systems Engineers.
